Only one branch was growing from the bottom, and I'm not sure if it was Fuji, or the part that had been grafted on. If it was in a more protected area, it might have been ok, I'm just not sure. I guess we'll wait and see for now - we can always take it down if it isn't a fuji apple and put something we'll like in it's place. Thanks Tighe Lory.
