Scarlet Curls Willow
We went out to look at the nursery yesterday, and ended up with a new tree - a Golden Curls Willow, also know as a Golden Corkscrew Willow.
It’s pretty neat looking, and one of the employees at the nursery said his quadrupled in size in the first year!
That’s a lot of growth!
If you have a golden curls willow, I’d love to hear about your experience with it - just leave a comment and tell me about it.
Edited to add: Yup, I’m silly - one of the people at the garden center kept calling it a golden curls willow, so I came home, researched golden curls willow, wrote the blog post, planted the willow - with Jeff’s help of course.
Then I looked at the tag.
It’s a Scarlet Curls Willow!
So it gets bigger and wider than the golden curls willow, but it has scarlet on the branches.
Ooops!
If you have experience with the Scarlet Curls Willow, I’d love to hear about that too.

I have no knowledge of this plant, but it sounds interesting. Please post pictures of it later as it matures. I would love to see the change over the seasons. Thanks for visiting my site.

Thanks Racquel, and welcome!
I’ll try to keep the pictures updated.
